Beurer was established in 1919 in the Swabian town of Ulm. Since the mid-1980s, Beurer has continued to develop new areas and it was back then when the company started to establish itself as a specialist for healthcare and well-being with its blood pressure monitors.
As a medical partner for prevention, diagnostics and therapy, Beurer offers a wide range of high-quality medical products. The prevention range includes the areas of exercise, nutrition and weight control and is covered by an activity sensor, various diagnostic scales and a nutritional analysis scale. The diagnostics range consists of blood glucose monitoring systems, upper arm/wrist blood pressure monitors, a mobile ECG device, pulse oximeters and a wide range of clinical thermometers. We supply a host of nebulisers as therapeutic aids. In addition to vibrating membrane and compressed-air nebulisers, Beurer also provides nebulisers based on ultrasound technology. Our therapy range features infrared lamps as well as a wide range of electrostimulation devices (TENS/EMS). The "Janosch by Beurer" baby care product range includes medical products, such as a nebuliser and a clinical thermometer with cute Janosch illustrations for our youngest users.
The BM 58 received an award from Stiftung Warentest and the BM 55 blood pressure monitor was voted 2014 blood pressure monitor of the year by the Bundesverband Deutscher Apotheker e.V. (Federal Association of German Pharmacists). Before this, the BM 70 had already been awarded the title three consecutive times. Our products have received a host of other awards, such as the Plus X Award and the red dot design award. Beurer itself was awarded the Plus X Award for most innovative brand in 2012.
